Little Sisters

An only child with a big personality conjures a little sister to share with. One sister becomes two, then five, until the room overflows with paint-splatters, secret snack missions, candy towers, and peals of laughter. The build up of make-believe sisters feels boundless—yet when they disappear, she notices how Mama is still there. During an exuberant hug, she understands: one mom and one me are perfectly, wonderfully enough.
